Eagle-eyed film buffs (or music video watchers) will already be aware that Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu are not the only stars in the new film. And we're not talking about Demi Moore. The Maserati Spyder makes its debut on the big screen - and on the accompanying music video to "Feel Good Time' by Pink - in Charlie's Angels II:Full Throttle. The car belongs to the character played by Robert Patrick (Terminator 2; X-Files) and features - inevitably - in a car chase sequence. Gruppo Ferrari Maserati have struck a deal with Columbia Tristar / Sony Pictures Entertainment Group - which they hope is the first of many - to feature their performance cars in future films. This may explain why the other car star, the Ferrari Enzo, also makes an appearance being driven by Demi Moore's character. Maserati has a long association with the entertainment world with stars such as Donald Sutherland, David Niven, Peter Sellers and Alain Delon behind the wheel of the famous marque over the years. © italiancar.com.au 05/07/03
