Lamborghini runs off 5,000th Gallardo

Hot on the heels of record production runs, Lamborghini has just announced its 5000th Gallardo, a black model destined for a customer in the UK.

“This is another important milestone for Lamborghini,” said President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. “To have produced 5,000 Gallardo is testament to the quality of, and customer demand for, our V10 product. The Lamborghini brand is increasingly sought after in markets worldwide through our substantially grown dealer network, through which supply versus demand is carefully managed.”

The Gallardo is Lamborghini’s most successful model ever in terms of number produced – hitting this milestone in November 2005 when it passed the 3,000 mark after launching in 2003.
