Seven live hubs organise the new reference edition. Each combines newly researched articles with a transparent list of the model subjects recovered from the former e‑zine.

Archive guide · rebuilt under new ownership in 2026

A marque hub is both a reading path and a research ledger. Linked titles are complete new pages; unlinked titles record former archive topics that still require fresh research. No empty navigation destination is presented as finished work.

• Abarth

  Live coverage includes Carlo Abarth and the company, a model index, the 595, 750 Zagato, 850 GT and the difficult history of the open cars.

• Alfa Romeo

  Read the 147 and 156 model guides and the recovered history of Autodelta, then browse the largest historic model inventory.

• Ferrari

  Start with the F430, then trace the former archive from the 250 and Dino families to the F40, Enzo and 599 generation.

• Fiat

  The Grande Punto is live; the recovered index stretches from the early 500 and 850 through the Panda, Uno, Coupé and X1/9.

• Lancia

  A sourced history begins with Vincenzo Lancia's Ceirano and Fiat years, then places the Lambda, Aurelia and rally cars in context.

• Maserati

  The GranSport factfile is rebuilt, alongside a recovered model map from the A6GCS and 3500 GT to the 3200 GT.

• Lamborghini

  The model map is live—from 350 GT, Miura and Countach to Diablo, Murciélago and Gallardo—while the first new guide is researched.

• Designers and coachbuilders

  Begin with Pininfarina, then explore the recovered subjects: Bertone, Giugiaro, Gandini, Touring, Zagato and others.

What the recovered inventory means

The Wayback inventory contains roughly 793 distinct HTML-like paths after normalising hosts, ports and case. About 193 belong to the old car directory, 51 to model FACTfiles and 170 to the former /pilot/ article and hub area. These are path counts, not a claim that the same number of complete or reliable articles survives.

Each path still needs to be matched to a captured page and a worthwhile modern subject. Dated news and unrelated later material are not rebuilding priorities. An old address receives a permanent redirect only when the destination answers the same intent.

How coverage will be organised

Each live marque will have an overview, a model index and a small number of useful paths into history, engineering and ownership. Individual model pages will link back to their marque and across to genuinely related material, keeping every article within a clear hierarchy rather than rebuilding the old site's folder structure for its own sake.
